“With everyone born human,
a poet—an artist—is born,
who dies young and
who is survived by an adult.”

Charles Augustin Sainte-Beuve

Creative Spirit Arts Center, located near Tucson, Arizona, was designed to assist community members in our quest to reconnect to our innate creative spirit.

At CSAC, a dynamic group of nationally and internationally renowned teachers, artists, writers, musicians and physicians design various playshops/workshops for people of all ages to nurture our individual creative process.  Whether it is through art or meditation, cooking or writing, playshops teach new and exciting ways to enhance your life.

We see the inner world of dream imagery as the matrix of all creation.  Our classes and presentations draw from the well of creativity that lies in our unconscious and its symbols.

CSAC was developed as a nurturing environment in which all people have the opportunity to become directly and totally involved in the creative process.  We consider the process of expression to be more valuable than a final outcome or product.

Our Logo - the Mayan goddess Ixchel:
In Maya mythology, Ixchel or Ix Chel was an earth and moon goddess, goddess of creativity, weavers and childbirth, goddess of medicine and reason, and a bringer of storms. From her pitcher flowed the flood that wiped clean the earth and brought about a new age of Mankind.
